Lynn, The holding area may come to be my own little iris farm. I love when it blooms and it should really bloom this year.
I'll email you. I'd love to have a name for it! It is burgundy and has purple to burgundy beards. That pale pink is Cherib Smile.

Lynda, Loved reading about the irises and all of the loving work to bring those irises back to their blooming glory. I love an iris bloom!! Your holding area may be "temporary", but it would lure me to visit it often, waiting for the April-May bloom period.

I believe your dwarf iris is Cherry Pop. I have quite a few clumps of Cherry Pop which fits your size description, the basic color I see, and mine are also blooming now. If you'd like a close up of mine, email me. It may give you a match when comparing the veining, beard, etc. Mine was a purchase about 7 years ago, so it was labeled.

PS Is your pale pink Beverly Sills?

Monica, They are pretty. It's nice to have a variety which then bloom from mid April through May. I had that one rebloomer that bloomed in October. I've got several others but it was their first year so they didn't bloom last year. I'm hoping I'll have several bloom in fall this year.
