A Bit of Green Here

Well, I missed posting green on St. Patty’s Day, but thought I’d share with you some of the green (and purple and yellow) I found today at Happy Acres.

Love these wee ones!

Allium - christophii

I’ve never grown this allium before. One of my master gardener friend had the schubertii in her yard last year and I fell in love with it. So I ended up ordering several including this one. Anyway, I planted them between the hostas in the front of the house and I am so excited to see them coming up through the leaves!

I cheated - these are our neighbors!

Lilac Buds

Sorrel in the herb garden

Lemon Balm in the herb garden

Sedum is getting bigger!

Yarrow in the wildflower garden

I believe it is finally spring and that makes my heart happy!

All my spring bulbs are on the shady side of the house, so I’m a little behind, but it’s getting close! I raked out the beds so they wouldn’t have to fight with the leaves so maybe soon I’ll have those bearers of spring, crocus, in my yard too!

Angela, you are ahead of me since I’ve not yet got all of the raking done yet! Thanks for dropping by.
