Hi there! Love your blog site! Keep up the good work. I think it is good to think of the simple things in Life we tend to forget. Those little things that most often go unoticed. If we slow down a little, the world is a much nicer place. I enjoy nature and plants so much. This summer was bad because of the pesky little mosquitos. I still watched my little secret garden out of my window and enjoyed it so much. It changes every year and I love planting new things just to see how they look. I am grateful every day. Journaling it just points out how much it can mean to write it down. Keep up the good work! Katey in Iowa

Amy,
Thanks for your comment. Yes, Sarah seemed to be the first person to do that. It is amazing that when you do it every day, whether you write it down or not, it sure changes your outlook.
Thanks again for visiting.

Years ago i was turned on to Sarah Ban Breathneck's Simple Abundance and she was the first person I remember who used this idea of the gratitude journal. I have incorporated this thinking into my daily life and it has changed me. I make myself do this every day (when i remember) and it is life-changing experience.

Thanks for your lovely column and creative spirit.
